Registration Fees
The deadline for Early-Bird registration is 24 July 2023, after which the Standard registration fee applies. Please be aware that no abstract will be accepted unless accompanied by the registration fee, which covers entry to all scientific sessions of AWCBR. Standard registrations will be accepted up to 15 August 2023, but the final deadline for abstract submission is 7 July 2023. A refund of 80% of the registration fee will be made for withdrawals prior to 1 August. There will be no refunds after this date.

Conference Dinner

The 2023 AWCBR Conference dinner will be held on Sunday 27 August, at El Camino Cantina, 7:00pm - 11:00pm.
Delegate or accompanying guest ticket: $100
Student ticket: $75
Food, Wine, beer and musical entertainment will be provided, so put on those dancing shoes.

Inaugural New Zealand Aotearoa Neuro-Oncology Group (NANOG) Conference
Primary Brain Tumour Care and Research in New Zealand
In early 2023, New Zealand’s first national brain tumour working group (New Zealand Aotearoa Neuro-Oncology Group – NANOG) was established. To celebrate the launch, we are holding our first annual meeting in association with AWCBR on the 26th of August, 2023, at Crown Plaza Hotel, from 10:30 am – 4:30 pm. This year’s inaugural theme is“Primary Brain Tumour Care and Research in New Zealand”, which will bring together eminent researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, and patient support groups from around the country to share and discuss advances in the field of neuro-oncology.

The symposium will comprise multi-disciplinary talks and poster sessions from experts representing all aspects of brain tumour care and research to highlight the latest breakthroughs, innovative treatment strategies, and advancements in diagnosis and management for these devastating brain-derived neoplasms. This symposium promises to enrich your understanding of brain tumours and foster collaborative projects between neuro-oncology and neuroscience.

Please note that a registration fee is associated with the conference, which covers the event's costs, including access to all sessions, conference materials, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
