UPDATES

AWCBR
2023

We warmly welcome you to AWCBR 2023; this conference is New Zealand's premier annual Neuroscience conference attracting delegates from all over New Zealand and beyond. We would love you to join us for five days of world-class and varied Neuroscience.

As usual, there will be intensive morning, later afternoon, and evening sessions. To achieve maximal interdisciplinary interaction, there will be no parallel sessions. As noted above, the middle of the day is left free for the many activities available at Queenstown. The late afternoon session will end with ample time for you to sample from the selection of excellent restaurants Queenstown has to offer. Each year the conference attracts participants from Australia, Europe, Japan, New Zealand and North America. All participants are encouraged to present a paper and we will create symposia to accommodate papers as necessary. Our purpose is to encourage interaction between a wide range of academic and clinical brain research disciplines including anatomy, biochemistry, kinesiology, neural modelling, neurology, pharmacology, physiology, and psychology.

He was a director at the Max Planck Institute of Biophysics (2008-2013) and is the director of the Max Planck Research Unit for Neurogenetics in Frankfurt, Germany, since 2013. His work is on the olfactory system of mice and humans. The
Venue

Crowne Plaza Queenstown sits in the heart of Queenstown, enjoying panoramic views over The Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand's longest lake. Just across the road is Steamer Wharf where you will find dining, bars and entertainment. Alternatively, you can depart from here for a cruise on the TSS Earnslaw Vintage Steamship. From luxurious bedding to spacious accommodation, we know the importance of a great night's sleep. Every room has its own private balcony or courtyard and many enjoy beautiful views of Lake Wakatipu or The Remarkables.
